Cool and strange toys (I DID NOT WRITE ANY OF THE THIS well some of this i did is THIS is FROM A WEBSITE)

Tuttuki Bako Finger Game Box

Japan certainly has a reputation for strange and interesting handheld games but we’ve never seen anything quite like the Tuttuki Bako Finger Game. Each stage features something you interact with by poking it. Stick your finger in the box and a digital representation appears on the screen mimicking your motions. From what we can tell the various stages of the game include terrorizing a tiny stick man, poking a girl in the face and flicking a tiny panda.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lokuloku Pig Toy
We don’t know what kind of crazy new age japanese technology is involved in the Lokuloku, a squishable pig toy, but we’re absolutely mesmerized by this thing. No matter what you do to this toy it always bounces back and retains it shape… even after being completely flattened and turned into a puddle of gold goo.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rocobo Electronic Pets

Sort of a evolution of the virtual pet on a screen, the Roboco is a pet with a screen for a face. Though we never would have guessed that after the Tamagotchi craze that Japan could create a handheld pet that’s even more annoying. Roboco mimics your emotions, so when you yell at it in frustration it yells back and throws a tantrum. Sure, it has other emotions, but we just don’t see ourselves doing anything other than yelling at it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yujin Cell Phone Emoticon Toys

Texting may be out of control in the US, but at least we don’t have emoticon toys. These weird little characters display Japanese emoticons known as kaomiji. You don’t have to know Japanese to understand the expressions on their creepy little dolls… in fact American otaku probably already recognize most of these and even use them on a daily basis.

venus fly traps

Venus fly traps are really cool because it's like they have there own brains but there plants so they don't have a brain. So if you want to look at venus fly traps and learn about them then just come here!

Venus fly traps have a great smell from there nectar so flys and spiders and other bugs go in there mouth so they can pollinate the nectar or pollen.
The plant contains a set of six trigger hairs on each trap,so if a very small animal or an insect disturbs the two hairs then the trap is shut for about two weeks. The reason why this odd plant those this cycle is because when the plant needs nutrients then instead of getting the nutrients from the sun like other plant the venus fly traps take the nutrients from the bugs because bugs are high in protean. The venus fly trap lives in the swampy areas, and humid areas.Venus fly traps are pretty cool look at there pointy fang like "teeth" cool huh? well ,you see those red spots in the mouth well that's were the nice smell comes from that's the thing that tricks bugs.and if you want you can buy a Venus flytrap and they are great pets and they don't poop all over the house so, why cant you get them.plus they make perfect pets for all ages! and remember always search  the animal your buying before you get a pet!

  1. To keep your hamster healthy, make sure to follow these guidelines.
    Dove-colored dwarf hamster

    Do's

    1) Clean your hamster cage every week. This means, change the bedding. Wipe out any wet spots and add more bedding.

    2) Once a month, clean your hamster cage with mild detergent. Dry it completely so it stays sanitary.

    3) Change your hamster's water everyday.

    4) Change your hamster's food everyday.

    5) Every other day, clean anything that's soiled.

    6) Every day, if there is any, remove wet bedding.

    7) Give your hamster pieces of unscented toilet paper to make a nest.

    8) Keep the hamster cage away from doors, direct sunlight, and pets or small children.

    9) Make sure your hamster is in the temperature range of 60 - 90 degrees, otherwise it could be fatal.

    10) Spend plenty of time with your hamster everyday and handle it often. This will keep your hamster tame and healthy.

    2.

    Dont's

    1) Never use cedar bedding. Always use aspen, pine, or other softwoods. Cedar will cause respiratory problems and death in dwarf hamsters!

    2) Never give your hamster a bath, no matter how dirty it is. Chinchilla sand, which can be purchased at a pet store, is a good alternative. It is safe for dwarf hamsters and many of them like to roll in it. It will remove excess oils from the fur.

    3) Never leave vegetables, fruits, or any other spoilable foods in the cage for more than 24 hours.

    4) Never leave the top of the cage off for long, or the hamster could escape.

    5) Try not to drop your hamster.

    6) If your hamster becomes sick, don't try home

stuff you HAVE to do to your hamsters.

Every Day
1. Observe your hamster to make sure he/she is healthy.

2. Dump out uneaten food and refill the bowl.

3. Change water in water bottles.

4. Check for any wet bedding. If there is any, remove whatever is soiled.

5. Spend some time with your hamster: hold it and give it some TLC!

Once A Week
1. Change the bedding in your cage.

2. Clean out water bottles.

3. Check your hamster(s) over for any physical problems, like lacerations, cuts, etc.

4. Check your supplies: make sure you have plenty of food.

5. Clean any add-ons or tubes.

6. Clean area around the cage (if need be).

Once A Month
1. Thoroughly clean out your cage. Fill up the bathtub with a mild detergent or deodorizer and let the cage soak for a few minutes. Wipe it out with a washcloth and dry it completely.

2. Wash all of the food bowls, water bottles, toys, balls, etc.

3.

your
list.
Here are two shopping lists; one for Petsmart and one for Petco. I made these lists for these two companies because they are national and are located in many regions. Some of you may not have access to them, but this list should be of help to you, anyway.

These lists will get you started with the necessities you will need for your first dwarf hamster. There is a price listing of all the items and a total below. I have chosen wire cages and all other items suitable for dwarfs. These lists are economic, and you will be able to find similar items at other stores. So, get started!

My Petsmart List

1. This is a compact, two story wire cage any dwarf hamster will love. It comes with a food dish, water bottle, wheel, and house, so those items don't need to be worried about. It is $24.99.
Petsmart Wire Cage

2. Bedding is another important item you will need. Remember, no cedar! Carefresh or Kaytee brand are perfect for dwarfs. 1500 cubic inches is a perfect size for several months if you only have one cage. A 1500 cu. in. bag of litter is $3.69.
Petsmart Bedding

3. A water bottle is a definite need, but dwarfs only need a small water bottle. As shown in the picture, many sizes are available, but you will only need the smallest one, the 4 oz. It is $1.99.
Petsmart Water Bottles

4. Chew sticks are a must in the world of dwarf hamsters. These chew sticks, shaped like fast food, will last your dwarf a long time. There are other, smaller types of chewsticks for slightly cheaper, also. These chewsticks are $2.99.
Petsmart Chew Sticks

5. And, last but not least, food. There are so many varieties of hamster food on the market, it's difficult to choose which is the best. Look for brands like Nutriphase and Vitakraft. This bag of food is 2.75 lb. It costs $4.99.
Nutriphase Gold Hamster Food

Total: $38.55
Not including tax or price of hamster.

My Petco List

1. This is a cage suitable for dwarf hamsters. It has a quiet exercise wheel and comes in various colors. It is $19.99.
Petco Cage

2. Bedding is another important aspect of hamster care. Don't use cedar! There are many sizes available, but if you only have one or two hamsters, than a smaller size is right for you. This is Carefresh bedding, which works as good, if not better, than pine. It is especially good for dwarfs with allegies or sensitive skin. It is $5.49 for the smaller bag.
Carefresh Bedding

3. This water bottle was designed for dwarf hamsters. It is small and durable. It is $3.19.
Petco Water Bottle

4. Food bowls are important when keeping your hamster's cage sanitary. They keep the food clean and are easy to refill. This bowl is $1.99.
Petco Food Bowl

5. Your dwarf will need chew sticks to control the growth of its incisors. These cost $2.09.
Petco Bark Chew Sticks

6. And lastly, food. Every dwarf needs it. As mentioned to the left, be careful when selecting your food. This is a 3 lb. bag, and it costs $5.49.
Petco Fiesta Food

Total: $38.24
Not including tax or price of hamster.

Here is a list of problems many dwarf hamsters develop at one time or another. If you are questionable about any of your hamster's conditions, do not hesitate to see a veterinarian.

Condition
1. Bite wounds

2. Cheek pouch problems

3. Diarrhea

4. Ear Problems

5. Stomach Problems

6. Heatstroke

7. Nails

8. Breathing difficulties

9. Injury and/or Trauma

Symptoms
1. Sores, lacerations, red or irritated areas, or infection

2. Pouches are swollen and painful when touched.

3. Liquid feces, wet around rear end.

4. Scratching and digging in ears

5. Loss of weight, lack of appetite, diarrhea, or sits in a hunched over position.

6. The hamster appears dead or comatose and is weak and unresponsive.

7. Nails tear or bleed because of the excessive length.

8. Sneezing, difficulty breathing and wheezing

9. Bleeding, broken bones, swelling, or unable to move

Satin-coated dwarf hamster

What To Do
1. If possible, try to cleanse wounds with a tiny amount of hydrogen peroxide. Keep the wound clean. Otherwise, see a vet.

2. Check inside mouth and try to remove any objects. This is rather difficult so consulting a vet is your best bet. Be sure the pouches actually have problems before taking the animal to the vet. Lots of hamsters always overstuff
their pouches.

3. Try to rehydrate the hamster by offering more water. But, you must contact a vet. This is probably wet tail and you will need medication immediately.

4. Ask a vet. It could be mites or possibly, disease.

5. Isolate and rehydrate. Take away all green foods. If problem persists, take to the vet.

6. Take to a cool room, and while holding in hand, set the hamster into cool water. Keep the head above water. Carefully and completely dry the hamster. Make sure you keep them out of drafts! As soon as they are conscious, rehydrate.

7. Trim the tips of the nails down to the quick with baby nail clippers. If you are afraid to try this, take your hamster to the vet; they'll be glad to do it.

8. First, what kind of bedding are you using? If it is cedar, remove it immediately!! Otherwise, get your hamster to the vet quickly.

9. First, observe whether the hamster is able to move. If after a while, he resumes normal activities, he will probably be okay. Otherwise, if he continues to act stunned and won't move, eat, drink, etc., take him to the vet.

Dwarf hamsters need lots of exercise, and they love to run. Here are someddwarf hamster suggestions for accessories for your hamster.

There are many options out there to enhance your hamster's fun.
Pet stores will have many choices for toys and wheels.

Your hamster definitely, if anything, needs a wheel. They can run up to eight miles in one night on these things! Make sure, if you have a dwarf hamster, that you don't get a wheel with rungs. These cause hurt hamster feet and possibly broken limbs.

Plastic toys are very popular. They come in almost every shape and form and can be bought at local pet stores.

You also might want to consider purchasing a hamster ball. While cleaning the cage, you can put the hamster in the ball and they can run around on the floor without getting lost. It works like a charm.

So, you don't have deep funds? Try homemade toys! You can come up with just about anything, just make sure it is nontoxic. Try a toilet paper roll. Hamsters love these and they're virtually free. Also, try using plastic water bottles as tubes. Cut the bottles with scissors very evenly. Stick one bottle slightly inside the other and tape them together. You can make long or short tunnels for crawling and climbing in.
This is a cheap toy to make, also. Cut the bottom of an egg carton so the bottom of it has 12 open holes. You can turn the carton upside down and stuff it with bedding and let your hamsters use it as a nest or a fun toy.

this information is included in the book, "A Complete Pet Owner's Manual: Dwarf Hamsters." This is one of the best books any dwarf hamster owner can get.
